Dr Jennifer Martinick has been specialising in hair transplantation for over 25 years. She is internationally acclaimed for her work in the field of hair loss and for combining medical knowledge with her artistic skill for outstanding results in hair transplant surgery.
She regularly participates in conferences, seminars and workshops, speaking to fellow surgeons on techniques in hair restoration.
Acknowledged for her contributions to scientific research and have presented lectures in Australia, Asia, Europe and the United States.
She was the first Australian and first woman to receive the highest honour in the field of hair restoration surgery, being awarded the ISHRS Platinum Follicle Award in New York, 2003.”
Dr Martinick has international recognition for her studies on transected (damaged) hair follicles and new techniques in hair transplant surgery , including the ‘snail track’ hairline – deliberate irregularities and varying density to mimic a natural hairline.
She is also renowned for her work in restorative surgery; correcting previous hair transplants and replacing plug grafts with follicular unit transplants.
As a Fellow of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS), Dr Martinick is dedicated to promoting the highest standards of medical practice and ethics.
